A space to explore, challenge, and celebrate the female bond
Rachel Grande hails from the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gettysburg College in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies, and a minor in Writing.
Grande has long fostered a passion for the written word; in September 2016, she enrolled as a full-time postgraduate student in the MLitt program for Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow.
Grande has been increasingly inspired by experimental literary forms, and through this has developed a keen interest in writing poetry. Her poem, “Sunday Morning Symphonies” was published in the March 2017 issue of Quotidian: A Literary Magazine.
She became involved as a creator of Hold My Purse Project in January 2017, and continues her work with HMP as both Editorial Team Consultant and Social Media Manager.
We are the women of Hold My Purse
A tampon passed under a cubicle door. Three million women marching together. A celebration of the female bond.
