IMG_7735Rachel Grande hails from the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gettysburg College in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies, and a minor in Writing.

Grande has long fostered a passion for the written word; in September 2016, she enrolled as a full-time postgraduate student in the MLitt program for Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow.

Grande has been increasingly inspired by experimental literary forms, and through this has developed a keen interest in writing poetry. Her poem, “Sunday Morning Symphonies” was published in the March 2017 issue of Quotidian: A Literary Magazine.

She became involved as a creator of Hold My Purse Project in January 2017, and continues her work with HMP as both Editorial Team Consultant and Social Media Manager.
